The SAG Awards Remembers: Ernest Borgnine 1917-2012



The SAG Awards mourns the loss of Ernest Borgnine, an exceptional actor and our 47th Life Achievement Award recipient.

The world will remember him for his roles in Marty, From Here to Eternity, McHale's Navy, and Airwolf (among hundreds of other titles); we'll always remember him around here as the smiling presence ready to share captivating anecdotes about life, love, and film.

We had the chance to sit down with Mr. Borgnine for a short interview where he answered questions from our Facebook fans:
