- SAG Foundation Superstorm Sandy Emergency Assistance Fund
ABOUT: The SAG Foundation partnered with the Screen Actors Guild Motion Picture Players Welfare Fund (SAG MPPWF) to create a Superstorm Sandy Emergency Assistance Fund specifically to provide financial support grants to active SAG-AFTRA members affected by the recent hurricane. SAG-AFTRA members may apply to the fund for cash grants of up to $2,400 from the SAG Foundation and an additional $2,400 from the SAG MPPWF, for a total potential assistance grant of $4,800 per person upon approval. - AFTRA Foundation Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund
ABOUT:The AFTRA Foundation is a $50,000 fund that was created to support and aid active SAG-AFTRA members in their recovery from the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. The AFTRA Foundation Hurricane Relief Fund will be administered by the Actors Fund in New York. Grants of up to $1000 will be administered through the Actors Fund through a confidential and streamlined process aimed at aiding members quickly and effectively as they rebuild and recover from the superstorm. Union Plus Disaster Relief Grants
As part of the Union Plus Union SAFE programs designed to assist union members, the Disaster Relief Grant is able to help those with a Union Plus Credit Card, Union Plus Mortgage or Union Plus Insurance policy who are facing financial hardship due to a natural disaster. The money does not have to be repaid.

Union Plus Disaster Relief Grants of $500 are available to help eligible participants in the Union Plus Credit Card, Insurance or Mortgage programs who are facing financial hardship due to the disaster. The money does not have to be repaid. Funds are limited to the nearly $370,000 available in the Union Plus Disaster Relief Fund.
